Mass Effect Romance

People get attracted by the opposite sex whether it is in real world or digital world. We can't help it. It is in our nature. When a boy expresses his feelings to a girl or the opposite it is totally understandable and natural. When people have feelings for game characters it gets more complicated and it is kind of weird ( but not in the wrong way) .

Human brains are totally remarkable organs, tools or whatever.... Although they DO understand that their beloved ones are just digits they still have feelings for those characters. I ve personally heard of or seen people expressing their feelings to digitized game characters. They know they won't get anything in return but they still do it. To be fair there were a lot of times where I was ( and still I am) attracted by in game absolutely gorgeous looking girls but that was it. Hey do not get me wrong i am not judging or anything.

It sounds strange I know but I will show you why. In the Mass Effect trilogy, romance has its own place in the story. It doesn't affect it but it is part of it. Romance in Mass effect is one of the greatest features of the game because it adds variety, you can do something different. You can do a gazillion other things but you can also do that as well. It won't help you become a better player but that's one of the things that makes this game different than the rest of the games out there.

Meaning that I will divide this lens in 4 parts

Mass Effect 1--->Boys & Girls

Mass Effect 2 ----> Boys & Girls

At first I thought as a guy this lens should be talking about all the gorgeous girls you could get in a relationship with . But I have discovered that a lot of girls are playing video games. So it wouldn't be fair .This way everyone is happy !!!

Moreover let me tell you something. There isn't not even one female or male that you will desire to have a relationship with ... that has an ugly face or body. They are all absolutely amazing, awesome, gorgeous, fantastic, magnificent, incredible. So making a choice is not easy.

In Mass Effect 1 there arent many choices available. There are only 2 girls. The human Ashley Williams or the asari Liara Tsoni. Both of them are gorgeous.

On one hand you have Ashley. A woman from a military family with an excellent service record. Ashley is a hard to get cause when it comes to relationships, she is totally professional when a commanding officer is involved. She doesn't like talking about her past very much. She can't really relax, she is always on alert. She follows the protocol by the letter. But that is also what makes her attractive. If someone chooses Ashley he will have to work hard to make her open up.

On the other hand we have an asari, Liara Tsoni.Asaris are such an attractive race plus they are all females, seriously there are no males.They can live for centuries and Liara is only a teenager. She is cautious but open. She is interested in human relationships but someone must have patience with her cause she is a virgin.Who ever is patient with her he will be rewarded.

I did not play with a female character so this module will be based on the experience's of other people.

There are 2 choices for the ladies available. One is Kaidan Alenko and the other Liara Tsoni.

Yup Liara plays both ways. Why? Because asaris are all females, no males can be found anywhere on their planet. So there is nothing wrong to have a relationship with another female.

Kaidan is a human biotic. He is open and talkative and he is glad to talk about his past. He is always caring for others, polite and faithful.

There is so much variety, so many choices, so many decisions that you will lose your mind.The script writers added 6 possible romance outcomes !!!!

All the ladies are different with no similarities at all. Those girls are Miranda Lawson (human), Tali Zorah vas Neema (quarrian) and Jack (just Jack also a human).

Oohhh Miranda !!!!

This woman is PERFECT !!! Miranda is a test tube baby (such an ugly definition).So she has a perfect body, she is incredibly beautiful, she is really intelligent plus a great fighter !!! Yeah and everything would be great until...she opened her mouth. Yeah she is one of those girls.

Miranda has a nasty personality. She is distant, workacholic, cold, blunt but sometimes it seems more like rude, direct, manipulative. If someone wants her he will have to work really hard, he will have to sweat .

Now let's talk about Jack. Jack is a girl, and a weird one. She is a psychotic, unstable, unpredictable, and always angry girl. She is an excellent fearless and dangerous warrior . She had a really troubled past and she is wanted all over the galaxy.

She is really distant and cold and someone has to work so hard to even have a normal conversation with her. She is honest and straightforward. But under the facade she is really sensitive and scared and she is looking for someone to really care about her.

Our last girl is Tali, a quarian. She is an adventurer, a warrior, a tech genius .She is sweet, caring, polite, honest, intelligent, and a sexy virgin. Tali is an open book. She likes to talk about her past and her culture. At first someone would think she is really suspicious since she is asking too many tech questions, but that's how she is.

As a quarrian Tali has to wear an environmental suit since the day she's born cause her immune system is totally destroyed, and a rupture in her suit would probably mean her death !!! So you don't know how she looks like !!! Meaning she could be ugly as a demon or beautiful as an asari. You never know what you will get. Exciting isn't it?

Romance is only one of the special features you or someone you love can enjoy in any of the 3 Mass Effect games. Do yourself a favor and just get the game. It is an experience you will never forget.
